Modiin is where it all happened, and the AACI is going to Modiin in honor of Chanukah.
Join Margalit Frydman, erudite guide, as we follow in the footsteps of the Maccabees and the Light!

*Latrun, site of the Ayalon Valley and major historical importance.
*Garti farm- a short walk to the olive groves, and olive oil tasting. We will also be introduced to donkey rehabilitation
*Visit the new Hasmonean museum
*Bus tour of Modiin, in search of historical Modiin, including a visit the ancient synagogue of Um el umdan (weather permitting)
*The  “Maccabee Graves”
* Hasdei Enosh reconstructed Dutch synagogue,

Lunch can be brought or purchased at the Modiin Azrieli mall (kosher options).
