AACI GIVES:
AACI, The Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel, stands alongside our North American brothers and sisters in making a significant impact on the lives of fellow citizens in Israel who are facing ongoing hardships due to the ongoing war. In response to urgent community needs during times of crisis, AACI GIVES has swiftly provided essential support:
Following severe missile attacks on Ashkelon, AACI GIVES fundraised resources to offer immediate relief. We arranged for accommodation and a Shabbat program (out of missile range) at a hotel for over 20 families with special needs children that needed even a short relief.
Additionally, AACI GIVES responded to the evacuation of residents from the attacked Kibbutzim and the city of Sderot by establishing vital community activities at the Dead Sea. We funded the building and managing of a Youth Center and staffing for young evacuees and donated computers and equipment to a Senior’s Center. In addition, AACI GIVES donated 150 tablets to children with learning disabilities and those suffering from post-trauma. The tables were used both as a means of learning and treatment.
Our efforts have been recognized with awards and appreciation from the cities of Ashkelon and Sderot.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported AACI GIVES. Your generosity enables us to continue funding initiatives that assist those affected by the conflict. We invite you to partner with us in supporting ongoing projects that facilitate the return to normalcy and enhance the quality of life for evacuees from the North and the South.

1. Bar-Mitzvah Celebration for Kiryat Shmona Evacuees:
AACI GIVES is proud to sponsor a year-end Bar-Mitzvah celebration for 26 boys and their families from a school in Kiryat Shmona, currently displaced due to the war. Scheduled for June 26th at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, this event reunites classmates for a joyous occasion featuring food, music, photography, and gifts, including a Tanakh (Bible book) for each Bar Mitzvah boy. By supporting this project you help provide a semblance of normalcy with this milestone event.
Partnering with Netivot School in Toronto, students will exchange congratulatory and supporting letters, fostering meaningful connections of the Jewish People across continents.
2. Support for Hadar School Sderot:
AACI GIVES is raising funds to establish essential facilities at Hadar School in Sderot, including a computer room, physiotherapy room, relaxation area, and outdoor playground. This initiative supports the school’s return to full operation following evacuation to the Dead Sea during the beginning of this war. Our goal is to enhance learning experiences and provide therapeutic support for students, ensuring they thrive despite the challenges they are facing.
