Happy 250th Beethoven!!

Happy 250th Beethoven!!

Music Lecture by Harvey Bordowitz

On December 16, the world will mark the 250th birthday of the colossus Ludwig van Beethoven.

Beethoven’s courage in adversity gave rise to triumphant creations which stir our souls to this day, and which single-handedly ushered in the 19th century – the Romantic era. Together we will experience the power, drama, tragedy and triumph of the beloved composer who stormed the heavens and changed music forever.

Hear the Eroica Symphony, No. 3, the Fate-Symphony No. 5 and the mighty Ninth – an ode to freedom, courage and human dignity.
