AACI’s Corona Assistance Fund will help immigrants from English-speaking countries (first generation olim) who are experiencing economic difficulties as a result of the Corona Virus. Since the outbreak of the virus in March 2020, and closure of many places of employment, AACI has heard from individuals and families who have lost jobs, can’t afford their rent, and/or struggle to get food or medicine.
The Corona Assistance Fund will offer direct grants as well as one-on-one business coaching, money management and counseling to individuals and families whose needs have been established by official government offices and /or AACI’s professional counselors.
Criteria: for those who lost their job or are seeking work and want to be retrained. Specific retraining courses will be determined as acceptable
- First generation olim from English-speaking countries
- Have been affected professionally by the Corona situation
- Have spoken to an AACI counselor or AACI business coach
- Completed the registration form
